The American Institute of Architects just released Guides for Equitable Practice. Firm leaders and architects across the country can use these guides to take actionable steps to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and in the profession. If you are an AIA member, you can download the guides here: https://www.aia.org/r…/6076046-guides-for-equitable-practice.

The Guides will be available to the public early next year. It’s an honor to serve on the AIA’s Equity and the Future of Architecture (EQFA) committee, which led the efforts to make this important new resource. Congrats to the EQFA team on this first set of guides. Looking forward to the next round! #ALLinforNOMA #AccessLeadershipLegacy

The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) completed its fourth class of 20 architecture students as the 2022 summer cohort of the NOMA Foundation Fellowship (NFF). The NFF is a two-month summer fellowship hosted at leading architecture firms across the country where fellows engage in design research and benefit from firm mentorship.

The course title should encompass the overall theme of the course and summarize what the attendee will learn in a few words.

The course description is required and should contain a brief overview of your course. A helpful tip if you do not have a course description is to pull it from the learning objectives.

Key Words are required and should be separated by commas. These key words should be related to your course and will be searchable by the public in the online course directory.

Specify if your course is a general learning unit (LU), HSW/LU, or HSW/SD/LU. To learn more about what topic areas qualify in these areas, please refer to the Provider Manual http://www.aia.org/aiaucmp/groups/aia/documents/pdf/aiab086456.pdf
